Lakeside Terrace

Residentially, assessments are made on a yearly basis to determine the growth and personal needs for each person. Based on these assessments, strategies are developed to promote progress toward greater independence in the following areas:

Communication
Mobility
Self-care
Self-direction
Independent living capacity
Capacity for economic self-sufficiency

All Lakeside residents attend the Nemaha County Training Center during the day. Depending on their needs and desires, individuals participate in pre-vocational, vocational and life skills. Physical, occupational and speech therapy and medical services are provided as needs dictate.
